Bustling with activity, the Depot District is alive with shopping, dining, entertainment and historical attractions such as the 1902 Pennsylvania Railroad Depot and the world-renowned National Model T Ford Museum! Feel the charm and nostalgia of yesteryear as you walk through this former 19th century commercial area

with buildings dating back to the mid-1860s. Whether you’re looking for a night out on the town or a relaxing weekend with the family, the Richmond, Indiana Depot District offers fun for everyone! Dozens of locally-owned shops offer an array of antiques, art, furniture, home décor, hand-crafted chocolates, rare books, clothing and other treasures that you won’t find anywhere else. Enjoy a delicious meal, cup of coffee or a tasty treat at one of our nine fantastic eateries, pubs and breweries. “You’re not leaving until you eat something!” is the motto of the Depot District’s authentic Italian Market, Maria Mitrione’s. Spend an evening with friends listening to great live music and enjoying a drink at our fabulous pubs and entertainment venues such as the 4th Floor Blues Club, E Street Pub, Firehouse BBQ and Blues Club, Little Sheba’s, New Boswell Brewery and Roscoe’s Coffee Bar and Tap Room. Model Train Displays, Kids Train Rides, Mural Art, Spa treatments, Yoga Classes and Pottery Painting is all available, too! The Depot District Association also hosts several free community festivals such as the Old-Fashioned Christmas Festival, Taste of Italy Italian Festival and Oktoberfest. The Historic Richmond Depot District and Blue Buffalo are hosting a Dog’s Night Out on Saturday, August 29th from 5pm to 7pm!

This is a free community event for friendly and well-behaved dogs to take a walk around the Historic Depot District! Dog watering stations will be located throughout the neighborhood, provided by Paint the Towne.

A costume parade and contest will take place at 6:00 pm.

VINTAGE GARAGE SEMINAR SESSION – 10 am – Speaker – Brent Mize – Topic – Coils

MUSEUM LAWN

AT THE TOP OF EVERY HOUR – Speaker – Milt Roorda – Topic – the 1909 2 pedal, 2 lever demonstration

TOUCH A T, TOOLS AND PARTS – front lawn of main building – look for the table next to the 1909 Touring – Check out the many different parts and tools of the Model T, our 1920 Fire Engine will also be out there for pictures.

PRE-1945 VEHICLE SHOWCASE – Featuring our special guests, The Speedsters – 10am–3pm

ON THE STREET

PRE-1945 SWAP MEET – 9am–3pm

T RIDES (at intersection of N 8th and N D St) – 10am–3pm

MUSEUM SOUTH PARKING LOT

DRIVING SCHOOL – 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm – 4 people per session, $50 per person per session (please see hospitality desk for more information, must pay prior to your session).
