Thank you, Richmond, for showing up with open hearts and meaningful stories at our Give Them Their Flowers activation during 804 Day.

Throughout the day, our community appreciation wall became a living collection of gratitude as neighbors, friends and strangers paused to recognize the people who have shaped their lives. Every note added to the wall was a reminder that appreciation doesn't have to wait for a special occasion.

Inspired and developed by True Grit's Marketing & Sustainability Communications Intern, Cadence Major, the storytelling experience was created to invite our community to slow down, reflect and celebrate the people who make Richmond stronger.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a story, wrote a name or simply took a moment to reflect—thank you. Your words became the heart of this experience.

This was only the beginning. More stories, moments and reflections are still to come. 🌼

Some flowers celebrate the beginning. Others honor a life beautifully lived. 🌿

This farewell wreath was thoughtfully created for a Celebration of Life service, designed to reflect the story of someone whose life was deeply rooted in family, hospitality, gardening, and the simple joy of gathering around a shared table.

Handwoven and harvested on our farm, every vine and bloom was cut, shaped, and woven by hand, making each wreath a one-of-a-kind tribute. Sunflowers, gladiolas, blackberry vines, edible botanicals, medicinal plants, and ornamental blooms were intentionally chosen to honor the life she lived and the things she loved most.

We believe sympathy flowers should tell a story—not simply mark a moment. Every farewell arrangement we create is thoughtfully designed to reflect the life, passions, and memories of the person being remembered, offering beauty, comfort, and care to those who gather in celebration and remembrance.
