bbgb is our revision of the little bookshop on the corner. we feature books for the entire family, from wee ones to adults, with a focus on those particular titles which prompt us to look at the world a little longer, a little closer, and a little differently.

thank you to everyone who came to our off the wall litcrawl event on saturday!

we had the honor of hearing off the wall read aloud by Theodore Taylor III, creating an original character drawing together, and partaking in a mural tour of the carytown parking garage, where we got to see some more of his art along with many others!

(a special shout out to all who braved the heat with us outside) 🥵

led by richmond-based artist & author-illustrator Theodore Taylor III, we’ll be celebrating the fourth anniversary of his children’s picture book: OFF THE WALL. books will be available for purchase at the event, be sure to get yours signed and personalized by theodore! 🎨

when: this saturday, august 8th at 1pm

where: bbgb to start, then we’ll walk across the street to the carytown garage!

free to attend, RSVP to give us a heads up using the 🔗 in our bio.

this family-friendly event is a part of James River Writers litcrawl, with other literary events happening all day in carytown.

today is the last day of where’s waldo in carytown! 🎈
