We are OPEN!!!
Nowhere near perfect in here! Inching closer to being done every day and working like crazy to make it special here for you💕We are so blessed to do what we love & those of you that know me know I love restoration! These buildings have a piece of me in the best way! Knowing that what we do will make it possible to be here for another 150+ years is why I love doing all we do. Be patient with us please. We have LOTS to do still! ☺️We couldn’t wait to open our doors & see you again. This is “Good Old Days” fair weekend too! We’re open Thursday & Friday 11am-6pm. Saturday 10am-4pm & CLOSED Sunday to enjoy the Grand Parade! Hope to see you soon!🥰

UPDATE;

I have so much to share! 💕Both good news & some bad. Not Awful, just bad.

Both shops are coming along REALLY good! BUT.....

You all know how I hate to miss deadlines! The deadline we set to reopen this weekend is NOT possible😞

The work needed was more extensive than we anticipated & unfortunately delays have made it necessary to push reopening to September 10th.

This is not at all what we wanted. Our contractors along with the work my husband & I are doing is time consuming. It's work we want done right & only once.

The brickwork we had done at Main St. Mercantile & CO. is finally complete! The inside back walls look AMAZING! We also removed more plaster back there as well as opened back up an original window!!! Although the glass won't be in until after we reopen the vision is there!😍The rest of the renovations are moving along but for now, mostly cleaning the dust from the brick & plaster!🤮It's awful! We have LOTS of help cleaning (thanks vendors) and when we reopen it will be so good!!!

Floras has been getting her fair share too!
Painting that never was finished from when we opened almost 8 years ago, now getting done! As well as a few other surprises!☺️

I want to thank you all for your support & patience!

A HUGE thank you for your support. Not just with this project but with every like, share, recommendation, stopping by to see what's new or thinking of us when you need to make a purchase. We don't take you for granted.

All our vendors in BOTH shops have been working So hard to have SO much fall & halloween for you when we reopen! I promise you, it will be worth the wait!

This renovation is making so many of my dreams for these buildings come true. The BEST is yet to come!💝 See you all September 10th at 11am.

We’ve been working on a few things behind the scenes & nows the time to share with you all a bit of what’s happening at both Flora’s Trash to Treasure & Main St. Mercantile & CO.

Keeping these old building beautiful, safe & intact is NOT an easy task. we have some bigger projects that at this point can’t wait any longer. So...... we will be closing BOTH stores from July 26-August 28, 2026 to do some put off & necessary renovations.

We know this isn’t ideal for some of our clients but its the only way to get as much as we can do done in a short time.

So our hours this week will be,
Thursday 11am- 6pm
Friday 11am- 6pm
Saturday 10am-4pm
CLOSED SUNDAY July 26 to begin renovations

We are SO excited for the future here at Flora’s & The Merc.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back August 29 at 10am for regular store hours.

I am heartbroken to hear & see what happened today at Blake's Lavendar Festival💜
If you haven't seen, They had a devastating storm roll through the market this afternoon. The winds & heavy rains were more than most of these tents could handle. Even tents with substantial weights were sailing like kites. People lost not only tents but MANY lost most, if not all, of their merchandise.
This kind of loss is devastating to a small business. Some of which, this was their FIRST event! They have suffered unimaginable losses. I'm hearing some were also injured. I pray nothing too serious.
Please keep these people in your prayers as the navigate this devastating loss. Also, from our small business to all of those at Blake's today I am asking for you to support all those you can. Some have brick & mortar shops & some online shops, others only sell at markets. They all need all the help & support you can give. Outdoor markets are a risk. No one ever thinks they'll loose everything.
If you are one of the vendors at Blake's Lavendar Festival today, PLEASE comment your business so we can all help you rebuild.
I can only imagine what you are feeling tonight. Please know, you have the support of so many that want you to come back stronger & succeed.
