🚌 Back to School Safety Reminder!

Our Rockcastle County Schools buses will be back on the road Monday, August 24th, as we welcome students back for a new school year! As buses return to their routes, we want to make sure our community is aware of an important new Kentucky school bus safety law.

Effective July 15, 2026, drivers must stop for a school or church bus displaying its stop arm and flashing lights from either direction on all roads, unless traveling in the opposite direction on a roadway with four or more lanes separated by an unpaved median or elevated barrier.

Please take a moment to review the graphic, slow down, stay alert, and help us keep our Rockets safe at every bus stop. 🚌🚀
