This week, our Create A Legacy team gathered for a company-wide meeting to plan for the year ahead. We talked about our goals, where we can improve, and how we can continue providing the care and service families deserve.

We also made time for a little team building with a scavenger hunt around St. John’s University, giving us a chance to have some fun, work together, and enjoy time as a team outside of the office.

Our mission says it best:

We had a wonderful time recently attending the Minnesota Association of Cemeteries (MAC) Convention!

It was inspiring to hear industry experts share their insights on cemetery care, preservation, and the evolving ways we honor and remember loved ones through meaningful memorialization.

We were also excited to introduce attendees to our new TRADITIUM™ Memorial Collection, showcasing innovative cremation memorial options designed to create lasting places of remembrance.

A New Place to Honor Minnesota's Heroes

If you're looking for a meaningful place to visit, we encourage you to stop by the new Camp Ripley Court of Honor at the Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum.

The Court of Honor recognizes individuals with distinguished records of military service, preserving their legacy and honoring their sacrifice for future generations. Since 1933, Camp Ripley has memorialized remarkable service members who demonstrated valor, heroism, and exceptional dedication to our state and nation.

At Create A Legacy, we were honored to play a small part in this remarkable project by engraving the plaques that help tell these stories of courage and service. Seeing these names permanently preserved is a powerful reminder of the men and women who have made a lasting impact on our military history.

We recently had the privilege of attending the CANA Convention (Cremation Association of North America), where we were honored to share our newest Traditium® memorial line with professionals from across the cremation and memorialization community.

Did you know that Murphy Granite is a pickup location for UPS? If you are from Richmond or Cold Spring you are welcome to drop off your pre labeled packages. There is a shipping shed right outside our front door, just to the north, go ahead and place your packages and paperwork inside on the left hand side.

In honor of the father's in our work family we celebrated with a grill out for lunch and jean shorts (jorts as named by W***y) along with full on dad attire and throw back company hats! We also had a visit from a little cutie named Willie, Kris' grandson.
