I had the privilege of making up these special shirts for my great-nephew Connor who, at just 4 years old, decided he wanted to do something to honor his friend, Ella, he lost to cancer. After a very successful garage sale and lemonade stand, Connor, along with his mom, Diana and dad, Drew, created Connor's Mission. This foundation is set up to raise funds to supply toys to kids fighting cancer. Connor remembers how much fun Ella had with her toys while in the hospital for treatment and for those moments, she got to be a normal kid.

Today the Detroit Tigers will be honoring Connor at 6 pm, so if you plan to go to the game, be sure to look for Connor and his family and friends and say hi! Check out his page to get information on other events and how you can help put a toy in child's hand.
