New release highlight✨

Freezing Point by Anders Bodelsen 🥶

One of my favorite genres is “lost” classics. Whether it’s a new translation or publication after death, I love the feeling of excitement and discovery for a piece that’s technically been out for a long time. And now we get to rediscover this one!

Freezing Point feels like a book you would’ve been obsessed with in your high school English class and still think about many years later.

Its themes surround immortality, bodily autonomy, and our obsession with optimization.

While it’s a classic dystopian book, it has moments of silliness and absurdity that make it a fast read. It was one of my favorite books of last year. Come check it out and talk to me about it! -Mariela
