Best News - For YOU!

On August 1st, I announced that the store would be closing. I was unprepared for the outpouring of love, concern and support both here and in the store. It has been an emotional 3 weeks for me. Most touching has been the children bursting into tears when they hear "their" store is closing and the precious little girl who offered to donate her $3 to me so I could keep the store open. That one had me fleeing to the backroom to compose myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you ALL!

Congratulations are in order for my staff member Rebekah Ann. She has completed her education and will be working as a teacher in Henrico County this fall. Rebekah has worked hard to complete her education while working for me for the last 6 years.
Bravo, Rebekah!

Beginning Tuesday, August 23rd the store will be offering:
20% OFF STOREWIDE!

The fine print:
* All sales at this point will be FINAL. No returns or exchanges.
* Discount cannot be combined with items already reduced.
* Cards and cash only. No checks will be accepted.

BIG NEWS!

37 Years! The Stony Point Store opened in July 1985, and it has been a great run.

We have seen babies grow up to have children of their own. Nothing pleases me more than to have adults that grew up with the store bring their own children to "MY" Toy Store. We have always curated high play value toys that opened minds, creativity and imagination.

I wish to thank all our wonderful customers, past and present employees, our vendors and sales representatives and the community for your support. It is now time for us to say goodbye. Many factors contributed to this decision, and I can assure you, it was not an easy one to make.

These are the things you should know:

* Complimentary gift wrapping will end on August 6th. Supplies have been hard to come by, very expensive and our supply is dwindling.
* We are no longer selling Gift Certificates. Please use them as soon as possible.
* We have discontinued mailing out Birthday Club Cards. Please redeem them soon.
* Our Going Out of Business Sale will begin in August. Please check our page for weekly updates.
* Our closing date will depend on our inventory, but we expect to be closed during the month of September.
* Once we begin our sale, all sales will be final, and we will no longer accept checks.

I am so grateful to everyone who have supported us over the years. Thank you ALL!
I will be retiring and look forward to whatever comes next.

Debbie 🤗
