Busy week on the farm!

Watermelon season continues to press on, and we kicked off corn harvest this week! It takes a team effort to make it happen, and we’re blessed with a good one around us.

Seeded and seedless watermelons have essentially the same health benefits, unless you’re actually eating the seeds.

❌ Seeded does NOT mean organic.
Whether a watermelon has seeds has nothing to do with whether it’s grown organically.

🌱 Seedless watermelons aren’t new.
They’ve been around since the 1930s and have been popular in grocery stores for more than 40 years.

And yes — we grow both seeded AND seedless watermelons. 🍉

Friday night watermelon push!

We have been supplying Kroger with freshly picked Tennessee watermelons for nearly nine years. We love the customer interaction we receive this time of year as our watermelons travel from our Tennessee fields to about 91 Kroger stores!
