There's no specific answer to the general question "How long does it take to make a piece?". It really depends on the type of piece and the weather conditions, which affect drying times. I often say they take about a month. This gives some idea to the process, although not all pieces are alike. This drawing also does not address things like adding handles to mugs, or drilling holes in berry bowls.
