The panic is palpable among the gun grabbers these days, and it's actually a little amusing.
The Supreme Court is finally preparing to decide whether the government can ban AR-15s and similar semiautomatic ri**es owned by tens of millions of Americans. Faced with those numbers, the author of this anti-gun New Republic article argues that 26.4 million owners still might not qualify as “common use,” questions whether these ri**es are useful for self-defense, and becomes especially alarmed by the suggestion that the Second Amendment was intended as a safeguard against tyranny.

On December 2, they finally have to defend that answer before the Supreme Court. Judging by this article, they are already nervous.
