Jim's Trading Post, LLC Antiques, local art, western decor and unusuals! The vision for the Trading Post is to establish a fun, western style antique store.

There are about 400 cars that travel past the location every hour, many tourists who just got off the I-17 on their way to the Montezuma Well state park. The building is an old home that was zoned commercial years ago and has been an antique store at various times in the past. I love the history of the old Arizona trading posts and want to mirror that concept. Plus a trading post is broader than an antique store, leaving me lots of future options. The plan is to rent out space in the store to dealers who would like to be part of the venture. There is already an established antique store across the street and the owner's of that store are very excited about a neighbor in the same business.

On Saturday, August 15, at 8:15 in the morning, a motorcyclist pulled into the Trading Post parking lot and vandalized a 4’ x 4’ political sign. It is a Class 2 misdemeanor to vandalize a political sign. After he dumped the sign and the rebar in the weeds (littering according to the police), he stepped back and took pictures of what he had done, indicating someone else put him up to it, and he took pictures to prove he had done the job.

A police report has been filed and charges will be pressed, once we can identify the individual and the Harley Davidson bike. The police have copies of all the video footage. Any help identifying the individual would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a right or left issue, it’s about breaking the law. Any political responses will be deleted. Thanks for any help that can be provided!
