A miniature cuckoo-style clock that's actually a pencil sharpener — cast metal, Roman numerals, little axes and all. We've never seen another one quite like it.

We don't come across pieces like this very often.

This Victorian mahogany settee came to us with a real story. Right after WWII, an American family was in Germany helping with reconstruction. In those years, so many German families had so little — and many were selling everything they owned just to get by. This settee was one of those pieces. The American family brought it home, and it's been carefully kept ever since.

Looking at the carving on that crest rail and the condition of the upholstery, we think it came from a home of some means before the war. Someone loved this piece for a long time before circumstances changed.

Now it's looking for someone who will love it just as long.

Victorian mahogany frame · Button-tufted paisley upholstery · Near-mint condition · Very minor wear consistent with age · Dust cover on underside is a replacement — everything structural and visible is original.

This little cloisonné teapot is one of those finds we kept picking back up. The rose lid, the gold wirework, the depth of color — it's made to be admired up close. Decorative only, but what a decoration. Available at the booth and on Etsy..
