Calling all local artists!

We would love to get a mural with our mascot BeeGee (the thinker on a D20) on the wall inside our foyer.

We want the community to make a mark on the place and so we are asking everyone to share & tag local artists and upcoming young artists who are wanting to add more work to their current portfolio.

We’ve got slat wall for days! Slat wall and case displays are up and ready! Painting is being finished along with other minor work.

Can’t wait to see all the merchandise on these walls!

The final reveal for The Bored Gamer is its owner, Ian Swafford!

Ian has over a decade of leadership experience across different customer facing roles and 20 years of being a dungeon master. He rarely sees a wall that outright stops him but instead an obstacle to overcome with proper planning and support from friends. His love of board games and card games is second only to his love of his family and friends. The Bored Gamer is the fruition of a dream since his early teenage years to create an inviting, family oriented space that introduces and shares the joy of gaming to all that comes through its doors. Ian’s hobbies include DMing Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition, playing Star Wars Unlimited, building Gunpla, and honoring his late parents by being a good example to his daughter.

In the coming weeks, once the store is opened please stop on by and ask him what it means to him to be a Bored Gamer.
