The new lineup. What do you think ?

Newest addition to the collection.
Wharfedale Modus Eight.
Condition: sonically excellent
Cosmetically: they need a little touch up. The vinyl is peeling away from the particleboard. I’m wondering if a warm iron will re activate the adhesive. Grills are in good shape.

Speakers sound excellent and as a bonus the tweeters can be aimed separately from the rest of the speaker. I have not experimented with this feature but I can see how it might shape the soundstage. Base response was strong for a 6” driver. Sound quality is surprising for this size speaker.

They came with some “Esoteric speaker wires with banana plugs which will be recycled into my build program with my updates.

I’m almost ashamed of the price point I acquired these at but as far as value for sound quality. This appears to be an outstanding value.

I could see these as being excellent surround speakers as well.
