I can’t thank you all enough. Seriously.

Every share, every purchase, every comment, every visit to my booth, you make this dream possible.

But here’s something I’ve learned…

Success isn’t always measured by numbers.
It’s measured by peace.
By happiness.
By growth.
By waking up excited to do what you love.
By building something you’re proud of.

The 167 items are incredible…
But the joy this business has brought me is the real win.

My honest commentary on the 127 Yard Sale

Pricing:
For the most part, expect antique store prices. A lot of the vendors are professional dealers who do this for a living. Others will literally pull out Google Lens when you ask the price. I’m not even kidding. We all know what that means.

Now… every once in a while you’ll find the “Yeahhh… that’s a dollar.” Those are the moments we live for. They’re just a little harder to find.

Walking:
You’re going to walk. A LOT. But honestly? You don’t even realize how much because you’re having so much fun treasure hunting.

Weather:
Prepare for hot… or rainy. Yesterday was absolutely perfect, but don’t count on that kind of weather every year.

Bring:
• A cart or wagon
• Boxes
• Bubble wrap
• Water
• Baby wipes
• Rain boots (just in case)

One last thing…
Please be kind to the dealers. Most of them have spent weeks loading trailers, setting up, and standing outside in 100 degree heat to bring these treasures. Negotiating is part of the fun, but trying to lowball someone who’s worked that hard just isn’t a good look.

Decor with intention and meaning.

My favorite decor is the little details that have meaning.

That mirror was from my mother in law the first Christmas I spent at her home. She didn’t know me yet. It was also the first “real” Christmas I spent away from my children post divorce. She had absolutely no idea she gifted me something that I collected. She had no idea I would marry her son, have a baby, and spend hours strolling antique stores with her. God is the details.

The shells are from every time my kids see the ocean.

Love letters from Jerod.

The birds nest. Jackson found it. Jackson is autistic. And these are his prized possessions! Rocks. Sticks. Nests. Jacksons story is his story. But as a special needs mom I have my own testimony too.

The pressed flowers are from Jerod. The first time I have ever been sent flowers in my entire life. And if you know you know I am a flower lovin girlie.

The dried bouquet is from the night he proposed.

The cabinet is filled with bibles. Some were gifts. Some from vacations, my honeymoon, or random adventures. Still collected nonetheless.

Little reminders scattered all over.
