Finally, introducing our JE Pony rope gag. Just like the regular bits, this has been carefully designed to help the little cowgirls and little cowboys have a good day horseback.
From the weight to the size of the ring to the width of the mouthpiece to the lay of the rope, every aspect of this bit was scrutinized as critically as our normal size rope gag. This is offered in the Llano cricket as shown in the picture, or in a smooth snaffle. We offer it with the Mecate rein or not. We offer the Mecates in 5/8 inch or 1/2 inch. standard color black. For the fashion conscious the Mecate is available in pink, blue, green if you can dream it up we will try to find it.

These are 10 ft. Mecate reins. These are 5/8” high grade double braided yacht rope.
They feature a unique slobber strap, that is 5/8 of an inch wide and acts like a normal water loop that would be on a pair of split reins.
It gives it more room to run around the ring of your snaffle, or you can put them on your regular shanked bit.
