Don’t forget, Society Session Two is right around the corner! 🔮📚

We had SUCH a great time with our first Fern & Fable Society session, and we can’t wait to get started again, hopefully with plenty of returning members and some new faces, too!

For Session Two, we’re heading to Salem with The Witching Hours by Heather Graham 👀 Think psychic visions, a missing-person mystery, Salem’s witch-trial history, a little romance and plenty of spooky-season atmosphere.

🍂 Session Two begins October 11
📚 Registration requested by September 30-ish

Society is meant to be fun and flexible. Read along at your own pace, join in on the discussions as much or as little as you’d like, and then come together with other book lovers at the end to finally talk about ALL of it!

We’re excited to now have signed copies of Haunted Havre de Grace by local author Lisa Unruh-Lopez in the shop!

A local author writing about a local town? Obviously we had to make some room on the shelf🖤Copies are signed and ready for new homes!

We’ve been wanting to try something new at Fern & Fable, and this one feels just right for October.

The Bewitched Collection is our first limited-edition seasonal curated collection, bringing together a book with cozy fall treats, locally made goodies, bookish finds, and a little bit of October magic 🍂

We’ve been working with some of our favorite small businesses and picking out each piece to create a collection that feels like opening up a whole little bookish October at once.

And because a big part of the fun is the surprise, we’re not showing you everything just yet 👀 We’ll share some sneak peeks along the way, but the full collection won’t be revealed until it’s ready!

Think psychic visions, a missing-person mystery, secrets tied to Salem’s dark history, a little romance, and plenty of spooky October atmosphere 🧙‍♀️

One of our favorite things about Society so far has been getting to share the experience of reading the same book with a whole group of other book lovers. You can read completely at your own pace, pop into the discussions when you want, and then come together at the end to finally talk about everything - we just love this community that is being created!

Whether you joined us for Session One or have been thinking about jumping in, we’d love to have you for Session Two! Returning faces, new faces, seasoned book-club people, first-timers… all are welcome 💚

Happy Wednesday! 📚

We’ve got some new reads hitting the shelves this week! Come see what else is new and find something to add to your fall TBR 👀

And we’re continuing to sprinkle a little more fall around the shop with three new simmer pot kits!

🤎Sweater Weather • lavender, clove, cardamom, cinnamon + orange
🧡Harvest Market • orange, cinnamon, cloves, ginger + bay
💛Favorite Flannel • rosemary, orange, clove, cinnamon + allspice

Just add to a pot with water and simmer for an easy way to make the whole house smell cozy. They’d also make such a cute little fall gift!
