Monday Thoughts with NodnarbâŠ
After a few adventures that brought me across the river to Minnesota with access to âlegalâ itemsâŠI returned to our little shop in River Falls simply amazed that other shops can get away with gouging consumers. Obviously not every shop is included in this view; however, out of the 4 smoke shops and 2 dispensaries I visited in MNâŠeach one of them had sticker prices that just blew my mind. And this isnât for grown herbal products; Iâm talking the same exact imported glass waterâŠrigâŠthat we have here! Their price for this imported glass? $299. OursâŠ$99. Same. Exact. Piece.
Then when I did find American made glassâŠtheir prices?? Well over double anything we have here in our shop. This extended to almost every category of product that overlapped in our operations. We had the same exact product or something similarâŠfor half or more than what MN stores charge. Plus; if people think the Wisconsin v***r directory sucksâŠat least we do not have the dosing caps for edibles that MN does. Paying over $40 for 5mg edibles? WowâŠ
While we are all for earning a fair share in this worldâŠfair is the keyword with that ideal. I feel honored that PPG and our little operations can be one of the few places where I know for sure; consumers are not getting ripped off (in this industry). Not only are our prices transparent and fair, but we also make sure to include any advice and guidance around the products in our shop. We would NEVER push someone into a product that made them feel uncomfortable; like weâve heard happen to people who eventually come in here and share their stories.
Anyways; Iâd like to think the cats have something to do with that. Theyâre picky creatures and would know if our crew wasnât honest with consumersâŠand we couldnât do anything that would anger our kitties. Thatâs just rude. Thanks for listening to my TED Talk. đđ
