I specialize in walleye and salmon fishing trips, but can also target small mouth bass and northern pike which are very abundant on Lake Sakakawea as well. What I Provide:

Fun day off from guiding today....kinda lol. Lots of action today getting 19 good bites and landing 7 of our 11 hooked fish. Lots of short bites the last few days but its action none the less. Few close calls at the net just too keep it interesting. September 3rd is booked from my previous post so just a handful of evening trips remain for the salmon run.

Quality with some quantity is the game so far. We have had the bites to put 10+ fish a day in the boat but you just can't connect on every one most days. Lots of 11-13 pound line screamers with a few up to 15 pounds have kept my clients busy most days. Been on the chase now for a while and we are starting to see better numbers along with the best quality I've seen since 2015. Had some decent days and slower days so far. Fun day today hooking 8 fish and landing 5 along with a few dandys including the biggest one so far this year in my boat and another stud that spit the hook at the net. Congrats Jeanette with a tank of a Sakakawea salmon! I have September 3rd available from a cancelation for a day trip. I have a fair amount of evening trips available yet so if your wanting to get out or have always thought about giving salmon fishing a try this is the year to do so. We have had great success with our evening charters the last few years. Good for up to 3 people for 500 dollars, 100 for each additional person after that. A pair of 2 day fish beat downs to close out my walleye trips till we get back after them once we finish our salmon season in September. Im getting pretty full for June and july 2027 so if your looking for a day or multiple day trip with lodging get a hold of me soon. I have 3 day trips left for salmon in early September and a handful of walleye trips available second half of September if your still looking to get out this season.

It just keeps on going strong! I could not keep up baiting hooks and netting fish the last few days. Alot of the times we were lucky to have 2 lines in the water as the fast and furious bite continues. We even found some silver fish one afternoon going 4 for 5. Excellent 3 day trip with these fellas. Day 1 was unreal on the size of fish. I know these fish look bigger but our top fish were 22.5 inches and by far the fattest fish ive seen this season. All 3 days were great for numbers boating 50-80 fish each day.

Did our annual veterans outing on Saturday that the Minot Elks puts on each year. This was year 10 getting to put these guys in the boat for the day and another successful trip for the veterans. Fun day working with Going Deep Adventures big muddy guide service and Bloemendaal Guide Service. Sunday was a different story for me as it was probably the toughest day of fishing and slowest guide trip for me this season. Hot calm and sunny skies, the walleyes disappeared and I was never able to locate enough fish to get anything going. Lots of head scratching for me that day. The tough bite didn't last long as my Monday and Tuesday group absolutely put the hurt to them. Monday the guys boated 100 fish by 11 a.m. and although Tuesday wasn't that fast it was fast enough boating around 80 fish in just a couple hours. I have 2 weeks left of walleye trips and then it will be my favorite time of the year and the hunt for the silver fish begins.
