This adorable antique cabinet has been lovingly enjoyed by its owner since 2019, when I first refinished it. And now, to make room for an inherited piece, it’s available again! It’s painted in a matte creamy white with some distressing around the edges. The turned legs were stripped and refinished. The original glass from the door has been removed making a beautiful open display cabinet for ironstone, books or collections. Measurements are approximately 16” deep, 46” wide and 60” tall. I absolutely love cloches, but I have too many. So, I’m “thinning the herd.” 😔 I’m starting with one of the largest ones! This is a vintage, hand blown glass cloche. It has some bubbles in the glass and the k**b has a punty mark where the glass blower detached it (see comments). The cloche itself is approximately 9”x16,” and on the base that I’m selling with it, it is 18.5” tall and 13” wide! It’s glorious!! The size makes the display options that can fit inside so numerous! The primitive column base is solid wood with white chippy paint. I added some pads to the bottom to protect the surface below it. These cloches can be styled for a holiday, to fit the purpose of the room it’s in, or to display collections, etc. They’re so pretty, and the size of this one makes it a stunner! Price is $125 for the base and cloche. Pick up in Wellman, IA. See comments for a couple more views, and send me a message with interest!

Vintage made in Japan miniature porcelain tea set (1950s–60s). Floral pattern with gold trim. Includes teapot, covered sugar, creamer, covered serving dish, tray, six miniature cups, six saucers and six dessert plates. Excellent vintage condition with normal wear to the gold trim. $70 OBO. I bought this set several years ago with my granddaughter’s room in mind, but it was never used! Would make a cute display set! Local pickup only in Wellman, IA. Many of these old oak China cabinets were made of quality woods and craftsmanship! They will last for many more years. So, if the color isn’t doing it for you anymore, switch up the finish and fall in love with your “new” one! (Stripped, paint washed and stained with General Finishes Antique Oak at 50%.)

Just the right amount of fancy. 💅

This gorgeous buffet was redressed in a matte black paint with some details and edges wiped back to reveal peeks of wood underneath. (Swipe to see the little center floral design-which is so fitting for the owner who happens to run Kim Fuller 🌼) The top and legs were tinted with a very light wash of the same paint as the body, so the whole piece has the same tone. 🖤

Paint is Lamp Black from General Finishes milk paint.
