Something to think about this week: You never regret momentary failures, regret comes from NOT DOING something. When you're old and too tired to live out your dreams and you have nothing but time to sit around and think all day, what will you regret? The sad part is, the reason we end up regretting things we never tried, is because we were more worried about what someone else would think if we failed, than we cared about fulfilling our own heart's desires.
Are you going to live your life worrying about rejection, of being made fun of, or judged harshly?? Come and check out our classic car and motorcycle collection here at Riverside Appliance! We are lining up some cars and a motorcycle in the warehouse to be displayed, adjacent to our appliance showroom. This is a 1964 Crysler 300 with a 413 wedge motor that puts out as much power as a 440. Our entire warehouse has AC so come escape the heat and check out new appliances our classic cars, or both. Remember, everything is always for sale. If you're a car guy in the IE this is the place to stop by and network.

There's a lot of development going on inł stores get tax breaks as incentives to bring their business to Southern California, while small businesses like ours pay some of the highest taxes in the nation and have to pay additional fees to do business. No matter what we still have to compete with those big box stores along w/ the massive increase in the numbers of online orders processed each day by Amazon, Shopify, etc. Unfortunately, when any of us order through those platforms or from those larger stores whatever profit is made is sent to corporate headquarters in another state where we never see it re-invested in our own local economy. Shop local FIRST and OFTEN, it supports us all.
***As software developer/web-designer/programmer/'hey can u fix this' guy: I would just like to let everyone know that I am currently developing an app and online shopping platform on our current site, as well as expanding listings to new (Large) 3rd party sellers. Any feedback as to what you like/dislike in an online shopping experience would be appreciated ***

I decided to climb up on to the roof to take some pictures this evening. Not even a full 2/3rds of our 29,000 sq ft building fits in the first picture, it really creates a good perspective to show just how large this property is. This is one of my favorite spots to chill in Riverside.

I would like to thank everyone who has liked our page so far. Creating a large social media footprint is extremely important for the success of any business in the 21st century, so I greatly appreciate everyone who has liked and interacted with our page so far. In the next week or two I will be modernizing our website and adding an online store so customers can order appliances, furniture, or mattresses online and schedule delivery and installation right from their device. In the coming months I will also be developing an app that I hope to use as a larger platform to partner with more local businesses so they can sell on the same marketplace.
I can't do any of this without your support so I appreciate you all more than you know.
