💔 With the heaviest of hearts, we say goodbye to Judy. 💔

Yesterday at 12:32 p.m., Judy passed away peacefully, with her family by her side.

If you knew Judy, you knew she was tough as nails, incredibly talented, fiercely independent, and just a little bit of a spitfire. ❤️‍🔥 And honestly…we wouldn’t have wanted her any other way.

Judy had a gift. She could take fabric, thread, a needle, and a vision and turn them into something beautiful. Her talent was undeniable, but what made her truly special was the person behind that talent. She poured pieces of herself into her work, her shop, and the people around her.

Country Cottage Quilt Shoppe was more than a business—it was Judy. Her creativity, her laughter, her stories, her opinions 😂, her determination, and that personality that could light up a room…or keep you on your toes!

She was strong. She was stubborn. She was creative. She was loving. She was funny. She was one-of-a-kind.

And she will be missed more than words can ever say.

While our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful that she was surrounded by the love of her family as she took her final breath. ❤️

Judy, thank you for the quilts, the laughter, the lessons, the memories, and for simply being YOU.

Your legacy will live on in every stitch, every quilt, every story, and every person whose life you touched.

Rest easy, Judy.
Go find the biggest quilt shop in the sky and make sure they know exactly who’s in charge. ❤️🧵🪡
