Deseret Industries Deseret Industries has everything you need and lots of what you just can’t live without. Our sales floor is always being replenished.

We have thousands of new items arriving every day, like clothes, household goods, even furniture. But we also have tons of other treasures like collectibles, toys and games. And if you don’t find what you’re looking for today, come back tomorrow. Have some extra stuff you don’t need any more? Everything you give helps restore hope in people’s lives. All proceeds go to support job training for our associates and help them gain valuable work experience, then we help them move into permanent, gainful employment in the community. So hand off those hand-me-downs. It’s what keeps us, and the community, going.

It’s not too much to ask for; this is all we need. 🧡🍂

The best part about a thrifted DIY? You never quite know what you’re going to find. 🎃

We gathered a few unexpected finds from DI, got creative, made a couple of pivots, and turned them into the cutest Halloween wreath. 🧙‍♀️

Would you try this DIY?

And finally, our last thrift tip: thrifting is a lifecycle. ♻️ When you’re done with something, donate it back so someone else can enjoy it. Keep the cycle going!

You don’t tell the thrift store what you need. The thrift store tells you. ✨

Our dressing rooms are yours to use, always! Try before you commit, hang anything that doesn’t make the cut on the rack outside, and our associates are happy to help along the way. Come thrift with confidence!

We saw a French bulldog lamp at DI and said, “We can work with that.” 🐶

A little Rub ’n Buff and this thrifted find went from cute to vintage and fancy! Another reminder that sometimes the best home decor just needs a little DIY help. ✨

Since 1938, DI has been a place where people can come, work, and grow. What started on the heels of the Great Depression as a simple idea, give people a place to work and learn using donated items from the community, has become something that has stood the test of time.

Nearly 90 years later our mission has never changed. We still use donated items to create a training environment where associates can build real skills and find real opportunity. A place of understanding, nurturing, and encouragement for all who walk through our doors.

"No matter the path they have walked, here they are offered safety and blessed hope."

Can you believe this entire cart of decorative glass costs less than a medium serving bowl at $20.99 retail? 👀

At Deseret Industries, you can find everything from home decor to everyday essentials without spending a fortune. That’s the beauty of shopping secondhand.
