For anyone that is interested in starting a beekeeping club in Roanoke, I am planning to start September 22, 2026 at 6 p.m. This will primarily be a planning session and deciding about what classes we need and anything else we need. Hope to see you at 220 Main Street Suite 1 for our start toward successful beekeeping.

Make sure your beehive has good drainage to help prevent moisture problems. To ensure your hive stays dry, simply have the entrance 1/4" to 1/2" lower than the back.
