Paying it forward from Eating Appalachia.

I'm participating in the Creative-Pay-It-Forward. The first five people to comment on this post will receive something handmade from me sometime in the 2013 Calendar year. Maybe something from my store, or maybe some new creation I've yet to come up with. It will show up unexpected sometime during the year.

Thanks for the wonderful holiday season. Lots of ornaments are now hanging on trees around the world. The last two weeks we've been making daily trips to the Post Office. This last week we were able to go by bike with our new Ibert seat (purchased with our SurlyGirl profits). Notice Annelise has her own set of Helmet Ear Covers (there's still one pair left in the store). Our busy time of the year is over, but I've decided not to close up shop after Christmas like I usually do. After a short break to celebrate Christmas, New Year's and Annelise's Birthday, I'll be back with new items, including more sun catchers, ear warmers, and hopefully some new knitted items.

We're making trips to the Post Office everyday (it helps to only live a few blocks away). So it's still possible to get ornaments for Christmas. I think the postal workers look forward to seeing Annelise everyday. They call her the growling baby because her version of singing is a low growl. We even made a sale. I guess they got curious about what we were shipping out.

Today I sent ornaments to Canada, Ireland, Australia, the UK and Serbia. I get quite a few orders from Canada, but shipping to Serbia was a first for us.
