Want a beautiful Spring garden? Know this before you plant your bulbs this Fall!

Here in Michigan, October is a great time to plant spring-flowering bulbs like tulips, daffodils, crocuses, and alliums. Aim to get them in the ground before it freezes, while the soil is still workable.

How to plant:
🌱 Choose a sunny, well-drained spot
🌱 Dig a hole about 2–3 times as deep as the bulb is tall
🌱 Place the bulb with the pointed end facing up
🌱 Cover with soil and water thoroughly
🌱 Then… let winter do its thing!

Come spring, you’ll be rewarded with those first pops of color. 🌷
