We also have one small favor to ask. If you've been part of our journey, whether you've been shopping with us since day one or you've simply stopped in once to say hello, we'd love to take a photo with you today. We're creating a special wall in our new Hutchinson location filled with the faces of the people who helped build Trillium into what it is today. This community has been part of our story from the very beginning, and we'd love for you to be part of our next chapter too.

Thank you, Silver Lake, for believing in us, supporting us, encouraging us, and helping this dream grow. Today isn't goodbye. It's simply the closing of one beautiful chapter before another begins.

We hope to see you one last time today. 💚

Gratitude & Manifestation: Embracing Change

This week we've been exploring what it means to embrace change, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that gratitude has the power to completely shift how we experience life's transitions. It's easy to be grateful when everything is going according to plan. The real growth happens when we choose gratitude even in the middle of uncertainty. Gratitude doesn't ask us to ignore the hard parts or pretend change isn't difficult. It simply reminds us that every season, even the painful ones, has given us something valuable. Every challenge has strengthened us. Every setback has taught us something. Every ending has prepared us for a new beginning.

As we wrap up this week's theme, take a moment to look back before looking ahead. Instead of focusing only on what you're leaving behind, think about everything this chapter has given you. The people you've met, the lessons you've learned, the strength you've discovered, and the ways you've grown. Those are the things you get to carry forward into whatever comes next. When we begin with gratitude, manifestation becomes much more powerful. We stop creating from fear, scarcity, or the feeling that something is missing. Instead, we create from trust, knowing that life has always been preparing us for the next chapter.

Journal Prompt: What change am I resisting? What opportunities could this transition create? What do I want to carry with me into my next chapter? What am I ready to leave behind?

Affirmation: "I am grateful for every chapter that has shaped me. I release the past with love, welcome the future with faith, and trust that every change is guiding me exactly where I am meant to be."

Daily Energy Check – Friday, July 31

Good morning, beautiful souls.

Today's energy feels like standing in a doorway. One foot is planted in everything you've built, while the other is preparing to step into something new. The Waning Gibbous Moon continues moving through Aquarius before entering Pisces, shifting us from reflecting on the bigger picture to trusting our intuition and emotions. Aquarius helps us recognize what we've learned, while Pisces asks us to surrender what we can no longer carry.

The Full Buck Moon may have passed, but its energy is still working beneath the surface. Full Moons often reveal truths, while the days that follow ask us to integrate them. You may notice you're seeing situations differently, feeling more at peace with a decision, or recognizing that something you've been holding onto has already served its purpose. This isn't about rushing toward the next chapter. It's about honoring the one that's ending with gratitude.

Saturn Retrograde continues reminding us that meaningful change isn't built overnight. It asks us to examine our foundations, our commitments, and whether the life we're creating truly reflects who we're becoming. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do isn't taking another step forward. Sometimes it's slowing down long enough to make sure we're walking in the right direction.

Solar activity remains relatively quiet, allowing today's astrology and lunar energy to take center stage rather than strong geomagnetic conditions. As for the Schumann Resonance, the Earth's natural resonant frequencies continue to be observed, and while some monitoring stations have shown periods of stronger signal intensity, there isn't clear evidence of an unusual global event today. If you're feeling emotional or reflective, it's just as reasonable to attribute that to the current lunar and astrological influences as it is to any geophysical changes.

This also feels especially meaningful for us at Trillium. Today marks the beginning of our final weekend in Silver Lake before we begin our move. Endings can be bittersweet, but they also remind us how much beauty existed in the chapter we're closing. Every conversation, every class, every smile, every hug, and every person who walked through our doors helped shape this journey. Now it's time to carry those memories into something new.

Today's Affirmation

"I honor where I've been, trust where I'm going, and welcome each new chapter with gratitude, courage, and an open heart."

Wishing you a beautiful Friday. Whether you're closing a chapter or just beginning one, trust that every ending creates space for a new beginning.

Acceptance of All Paths: Vajrayogini – Transcending Fear

As we continue exploring spiritual traditions from around the world, today we're learning about Vajrayogini, one of the most revered female deities in Vajrayana Buddhism. She is also recognized in some Ta***ic Hindu traditions, but her teachings are most deeply rooted in Tibetan Buddhism. Vajrayogini represents transformation, wisdom, and the courage to move beyond fear. Rather than teaching us to avoid difficult emotions or challenging experiences, she reminds us that fear itself can become one of our greatest teachers. When we stop running from it and instead face it with honesty, we begin discovering strengths we may not have known we possessed.

Her name carries beautiful symbolism. The word vajra means "diamond" or "thunderbolt," representing something indestructible, clear, and powerful, while yogini refers to a realized female practitioner who has united mind, body, and spirit through spiritual practice. She is also known as a dakini, often translated as "sky dancer." In Buddhist tradition, dakinis symbolize awakened wisdom and transformation. They aren't simply gentle guides. They are powerful reminders that sometimes growth comes from allowing old patterns, fears, and attachments to fall away so something more authentic can emerge.

Vajrayogini is traditionally associated with the color red, symbolizing life force, transformation, sacred feminine energy, and the fire that burns away illusion. Gold is also connected with her, representing enlightenment and awakened consciousness. Fire itself is one of her strongest symbols because it transforms everything it touches. What was becomes something new. That symbolism feels incredibly relevant for anyone navigating change.

Unlike many spiritual figures, Vajrayogini isn't closely connected with one particular sacred animal. Instead, as a sky dancer, birds soaring through open skies often reflect the freedom and liberation found when we move beyond fear. The number three also appears throughout Vajrayana teachings, representing the harmony of body, speech, and mind working together on the spiritual path.

Traditional Buddhism doesn't associate Vajrayogini with crystals, but many modern practitioners find meaningful symbolism in stones like garnet for courage, ruby for passion and spiritual strength, red jasper for grounded confidence, and smoky quartz for releasing fear and emotional heaviness. Herbs such as sandalwood, juniper, lotus, and saffron have long been used in Buddhist ceremonies for offerings, purification, and creating spaces of mindfulness and reverence.

What I love most about Vajrayogini's message is how universal it is. No matter what path you follow, every one of us eventually reaches moments where life asks us to step into the unknown. Whether it's moving to a new home, starting a new job, ending a relationship, beginning a business, healing from loss, or simply becoming a different version of ourselves, growth almost always asks us to walk through fear before we experience freedom.

That ties beautifully into this week's theme of Embracing Change. Change rarely feels comfortable because we're leaving behind what is familiar. But maybe fear isn't always there to stop us. Maybe sometimes it's there because we're standing at the doorway of our next chapter. Every meaningful transformation requires us to trust ourselves enough to take the next step, even before we know exactly where the path leads.

One of the things I appreciate most about studying different traditions is discovering how often they point toward the same truth using different stories, symbols, and languages. Whether it's Vajrayogini in Buddhism, a saint in Christianity, a goddess in another tradition, or simply the wisdom we gain through our own life experiences, so many paths remind us that courage isn't the absence of fear. Courage is choosing to keep moving forward despite it.

Reflection Question: What fear in my life might actually be pointing me toward the person I'm becoming?

Acceptance of All Paths

Thresholds and Transitions Across Cultures

One of the few things every human being shares is change.

No matter where we come from or what we believe, life is filled with moments that forever change us. We leave childhood behind, begin new careers, welcome children, move into new homes, grieve loved ones, celebrate marriages, retire, or simply wake up one day realizing we've become someone different than we once were.

Across cultures and spiritual traditions, these moments are often honored as thresholds—the space between what was and what is becoming.

Many Indigenous traditions offer prayers or blessings before entering a new home, asking for protection, harmony, and gratitude for the land.

In Japan, some families welcome a new home with a purification ceremony to honor the space and begin this chapter with respect and intention.

In Hindu traditions, ceremonies may be held to bless a new home, inviting peace, abundance, and well-being into the household.

Throughout Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Pagan traditions, and many other faiths, people often pause to pray, light candles, share meals, cleanse spaces, sing, or gather with loved ones when beginning a new chapter. While the customs differ, the intention is remarkably similar: to acknowledge change with gratitude, hope, and purpose.

Even outside of organized religion, many of us create our own rituals. We write in journals, plant a tree, keep a meaningful stone in our pocket, take one last walk through an old home, or watch a sunrise before beginning again. These simple acts remind us that transitions deserve to be witnessed, not rushed.

As Trillium prepares for its own move and this week's theme of Embracing Change, we're reminded that every doorway we walk through carries both an ending and a beginning. We don't have to fear crossing the threshold. It is often where some of life's greatest growth begins.

No matter your path, may you find a way to honor the chapters that shaped you, release those that have come to a close, and step into what comes next with an open heart.

Reflection Question: What threshold am I standing at today, and how can I honor this new beginning with intention?

Daily Energy Check – Thursday, July 30

Good morning, beautiful souls.

After the illuminating energy of yesterday's Full Buck Moon, today invites us to slow down and integrate what came to the surface. Full Moons often reveal what needs our attention, but the day after is where the real work begins. Rather than rushing to make every change at once, give yourself permission to simply observe what you've learned.

As we continue our Embracing Change theme, remember that transformation doesn't happen in one dramatic moment. It happens through the small, intentional choices we make each day. A new perspective. One healthy boundary. One courageous conversation. One step forward.

Today's energy supports grounding yourself after emotional or spiritual breakthroughs. If you've been feeling scattered, spend time in nature, organize a space that's been weighing on your mind, or sit quietly with your thoughts before jumping into action. Clarity often arrives after we've created room for it.

Ocean Jasper, our Crystal of the Week, beautifully complements today's energy. Like the ebb and flow of the tides, it reminds us that life moves in cycles. We don't need to force change—we simply need to trust the current and continue moving with intention.

Today's Affirmation

"I trust the process of becoming. Every small step I take today is creating the life I'm meant to live."

Reflection Question

What is one small change I can make today that my future self will thank me for?

Wishing you a peaceful Thursday filled with clarity, patience, and gentle forward movement.
