These 1920s flapper teddy bears are based on the female characters of The Great Gatsby. They’re a custom order for a dear friend who was in a stage production of Gatsby, and they’re going to be a baby shower gift for HER friend who was also in the play. Been making quite a few custom Etsy orders recently, and just finished up this fun hat for a friend! I’ve crocheted countless hats in my lifetime, but this was probably my favorite! I used a new (to me) kind of stitch, which was a specific request from my friend who also knows how to crochet herself. I love how the color scheme of this self-striping yarn turned out - it reminds me of a sunset.
