Congratulations to my treasured friend and fellow bookseller!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our dear friend and dharma brother Chuck Kaczmarsky (Kanshin) recently received tokudo (vows to enter the priesthood as a novice) from our sensei Kanjin Cederman. Kanshin is a Rochester native and has been a stalwart support to our Rochester sangha for more than a decade. Please join us in welcoming him to the priesthood and support him in this journey!

Thailand is moving ahead with a 45-volume English-language Tipitaka, with three new subcommittees tasked with driving translation, production and editing. The project aims to make Buddhist teachings more accessible to people in Thailand and around the world.
