**For Immediate Release**

Legacy Toys is deeply saddened to announce that our Rochester, MN location closed its doors on Sunday, March 9th. This decision was NOT made lightly, but due to unforeseen circumstances, slower-than-expected sales, and ongoing challenges with theft, we were no longer able to continue operations at this location. While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Rochester community for welcoming us and supporting our store. We also want to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to Legacy Toys Rochester. For helping bring play to life!

For over 13 years, it has been our mission to spread joy through the magic of toys. Seeing the smiles on children’s faces and being part of your special moments has been an incredible privilege. Anytime a local toy store has to close is heartbreaking and our Rochester location is no different. We truly appreciate every customer who has walked through our doors, shared their stories, and made Legacy Toys a part of their lives.

For those who have Legacy Toys gift cards, they can still be redeemed online or in one of our other 5 locations. If for any reason you encounter issues, please reach out to us and we WILL make it right. Though this chapter in Rochester is coming to an end, we remain hopeful for the future and that this is not a goodbye forever. Until then, we thank you for being a part of our journey and for supporting local toy stores. We will miss you, Rochester!
