I remember waking up and turning the TV on that sunny September morning to see the most horrific images of our fellow Americans being murdered. Then the news of the first responders that would never make it home to their families that day. I went to visit my father, who was on duty that day and remember the eerie feeling of a quiet firehouse where it usually bustled with laughter and practical jokes. Our Country and our world changed forever that day and we must never forget the sacrifice of so many Americans that day and in the years that followed. We must stay vigilant and share the good times with family and friends, as we never know when evil may show up at our doorstep…
