The resinous floors at Highmark Stadium looked great at the Buffalo Bills home opener last Thursday! Our team installed roughly 140,000 square feet MMA resinous systems throughout the stadium, working through one of the coldest winters in years and a schedule that shifted by the day.

Pictured is our CEO Abby Reinhard with our amazing team who worked on this exciting project. None of it could have happened without the teamwork and continuous coordination between the install crew, general contractor, and every trade working around us on site.

Proud to be part of this stadium's history, and a place where Bills fans will be making memories for years to come. Go Bills!

We’re excited to share that GP Flooring once again made the Top 100 list of fastest growing, privately owned companies headquartered in the Rochester region! Growth like this comes from our great clients, strong partners, and a team that never stops raising the bar. Thank you to the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce for the recognition and everyone who has helped get us here. We’re grateful, as always.

Our official ranking will be revealed at the Top 100 award ceremony this November.

More facilities are moving away from annual strip-and-wax routines. A long-lasting coating from NeverStrip Floor Coatings, applied every 3–5 years, eliminates the need for annual stripping -- reducing labor, cost, and disruption over time.

For facility and maintenance teams, that means fewer chemicals, less downtime, and a floor that still looks good without the yearly headache.

Why replace all your flooring when you can restore some of it? At this neurology clinic, we helped the University of Rochester preserve budget by replacing flooring in high-traffic, high-visibility areas while our maintenance team restored patient room flooring to extend its useful life.

The result: updated common spaces, reduced replacement costs, and less disruption in active care areas.

Materials included Roppe Corporation solid rubber, Interface Woodgrains LVT, and Patcraft carpet tile throughout the lobby and common areas.

At our annual safety meeting, we focus on what truly matters—keeping people safe and reinforcing the standards that drive quality work. We have awesome installers and PMs who always do the right thing—including prioritizing safety first. Our team has grown not just in numbers of people and projects but also in our commitment to the quality of our work and the pride we take in every floor we install.

Last week, our CEO Abby Reinhard participated in the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) Conference and Board Meeting in Chattanooga, TN — an important forum for advancing progress in carpet recycling and circularity.

A standout session was the “Design for Circularity” panel, which highlighted how manufacturers and designers are increasingly aligned around extending product life, improving recyclability, and building systems that can scale.

As New York prepares to mandate carpet recycling beginning in 2027, these conversations are more important than ever. It’s encouraging to see the industry moving in the right direction and coming together around practical solutions.

We’re proud to have Abby helping to move these efforts forward as a board member of CARE. She’s the only flooring contractor on this national board, representing an important voice in the dialogue about carpet recycling.

The annual conference was a strong reminder that momentum is building, and that real progress happens when the industry works together.

We love leading job‑site tours for YouthBuild Rochester, helping inspire the next generation of construction professionals through hands‑on exposure to the industry. We recently welcomed participants from the Urban League of Rochester’s YouthBuild program to the Churchview Commons two‑story, 45‑unit affordable housing project for a firsthand look at an active construction site. In partnership with Home Leasing and Haynes Construction Company, the project’s GC, we hosted a site tour and informational session.

Experiences like this allow participants to see how trades collaborate, gain practical insight, and explore the many career paths available within construction.

“It showed me there are other areas I can go into in the future—another skill I can have.” – YouthBuild participant

Thank you to the Urban League, YouthBuild participants, Home Leasing, Haynes Construction, and our GP Flooring Solutions team for making this experience meaningful.

For more than a decade, we’ve been proud to support YouthBuild through site tours and informational sessions—reinforcing our long‑standing commitment to workforce development in the construction industry.
