Also known as Black-Eyed Susan, Rudbeckia is a cheerful perennial with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers and dark centers. It's a reliable, low-maintenance plant that adds a pop of color to sunny gardens and attracts pollinators from mid to late summer. With some varieties native to MN, they do well in zone 4!

☀: Rudbeckia thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
💧: It prefers average to moist, well-drained soil and is somewhat drought-tolerant once established.
📏: Depending on the variety, Rudbeckia can grow anywhere from 1-4 feet tall and 1-3 feet wide.
đŸŒŒ: Most varieties bloom from mid-summer into fall, providing bright, long-lasting color late into the season.
