Vacation mode: officially on. ⚾️

We traded the market booth for the ballpark tonight and kicked off a few days away with a WPBL game, a corn dog, and our favorite tiny human.

Millennial Mamas will be out of office for the next few days while we take some time away as a family. Our Etsy shop is on vacation mode, too, but we’ll be back next week and ready to jump back in.

Until then, we’re soaking this up. 🤍

There are usually two faces behind Millennial Mamas… and one very tiny third. 🤍

Most weekends, this is where you’ll find us — behind a table full of things we made ourselves, talking with people about ingredients, answering questions and getting to know the people who stop by.

What started at home has turned into something that gets us out into our community almost every weekend, and that has easily become one of our favorite parts of doing this.

There’s something pretty special about getting to hand someone something you made and then seeing them come back the next week for more.

So, from the people behind the table (including the smallest one), thanks for continuing to stop by. 🤍

Closing out summer with our littlest (and definitely most enthusiastic) helper. 🤍

This summer brought a lot for Millennial Mamas—early market mornings, new products, new faces at our table, the Illinois State Fair, and more growth than we probably had time to stop and think about while it was happening.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, there was usually a little redhead nearby—moving jars, inspecting products and keeping us on our toes.

Now we’re heading into a new season with plenty of ideas, new things we want to try and a whole lot to look forward to.

Summer was good to us. We’re excited to see what fall brings. 🍂🤍

We’ve shared a lot with you lately—now we want to hear from you. 🤍

As Millennial Mamas continues to grow, we have plenty of ideas of our own (probably too many 😂), but we also want to know what you want to see from us.

Is there a product you wish we made? A scent you’d love to see? Something you want to know more about? A product you wish came in a different size? Even something you’d like to see more of here on our page?

Tell us. We’re listening. 👇🤍

Some of our favorite ideas have come from conversations with the people who actually use our products—and we want to keep having them.

There’s something pretty special about seeing it all set up like this. 🤍

What started with a few products we made for our own family has slowly turned into tables filled with things we’ve created, tested, changed, perfected and genuinely love.

And somehow, every Saturday morning, we get to bring all of it downtown and share it with you.

We’re at the Old Capitol Farmers Market presented by HSHS St. John's until 12:30 today. Come find us under the green tent. 🌿

It’s funny how quickly something can grow when you just keep showing up for it. 🤍

There are still so many things we want to try, products we want to perfect, places we’d love to see Millennial Mamas, and ideas we haven’t even had yet.

We don’t know exactly what this little business will look like a year from now—and honestly, that’s part of what makes it so exciting.

For now, we’re just going to keep learning, creating, and seeing where this takes us.

We have a feeling there’s a lot more ahead. 🤍

Small batch isn’t just something we put on our labels. 🤍

Making our products in small batches means we can pay attention to the little things—from the texture and consistency to how each batch actually feels and performs.

We’re not interested in making as much as possible. We’d rather make less, make it carefully, and be proud of what leaves our hands.

It takes a little more time, but that’s kind of the point.

Handcrafted with care. Always. 🤍

Most of our products don’t start with, “What should we sell next?” 🤍

They usually start with something much simpler: “Can we make this ourselves?”

Something we need for Callahan. Something we want to swap out in our own home. Or something we’ve been buying that we’d rather make ourselves with ingredients we choose.

We make it. We use it. We tweak it. And if it becomes something we genuinely love and reach for ourselves, then we think about sharing it with you.

Case in point: this is an actual corner of our bathroom. 😂 Half-used bottles, worn labels and all.

So when we say we make products for our family first, we really mean it. 🤍

Before Callahan was born, you could almost always find a Bath & Body Works candle burning somewhere in our house. I loved them—and honestly never gave much thought to what was actually in the candle I was burning for hours at a time.

Having Callahan changed the way we looked at a lot of things in our home. The more attention we started paying to ingredients, the more I wanted to know exactly what we were burning around our family.

So, naturally, we started making our own. 😂

Our candles are made with just beeswax, tallow and coconut oil, scented only with essential oils—never fragrance oils—and paired with clean-burning wicks.

These days, you can still almost always find a candle burning in our house. It just happens to be one we made ourselves, with ingredients we chose and feel good about bringing into our home. 🤍
