Featured Racer Spotlight: Jayleigh
At Race Mode Co, we love celebrating racers of all ages, and this week's featured racer proves that passion for racing has no age limit.
Meet Jayleigh
Age: 6
Hometown: Spokane, Washington
Racing Class: 50CC Intermediate
Home Track: Spokane Flat Track
At just six years old, Jayleigh has already built an impressive racing resume that many racers would be proud of.
Her racing journey began at the age of four thanks to a family deeply connected to the sport. With parents who own a local dirt bike shop, motorcycles and racing have always been a part of her life. What started as an introduction to dirt bikes quickly grew into a true passion for competition.
Now entering her third season of racing, Jayleigh competes in multiple classes, including the Daddy/Daughter Class, 50CC Class, and Girls Class. Her enthusiasm for racing shines every time she lines up at the starting line.
Success From the Start
Jayleigh didn't waste any time making her mark on the track.
During her very first season of racing, she accomplished something many young riders only dream aboutโwinning the 50CC Beginners Class Championship. As if that wasn't impressive enough, she also finished second overall in the Girls Class that same season.
Since then, she has continued to build on her success year after year.
One thing that stands out about Jayleigh's racing career is her consistency. She has earned an award at every year-end banquet by finishing among the top three competitors in her classes throughout the season.
A Growing Collection of Hardware
For most racers, trophies and medals are reminders of hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent practicing.
Jayleigh has already collected an incredible 80+ medals in just a few short years of racing.
Each medal represents another race weekend, another challenge overcome, and another step forward in her racing journey.
Biggest Racing Accomplishment
When asked about her proudest racing achievement, Jayleigh didn't hesitate.
Her biggest accomplishment was winning first place overall during her very first season of racing, despite having never ridden a dirt bike before beginning her racing career.
That's an achievement that speaks volumes about her determination, natural talent, and willingness to learn.
Looking Ahead
With nearly three seasons of experience, multiple championship-level finishes, and over 80 medals already earned, the future looks incredibly bright for this young racer.
Most importantly, Jayleigh races because she genuinely loves the sport. Whether she's competing in the 50CC class, the Girls class, or lining up alongside her dad in the Daddy/Daughter class, her excitement for racing is impossible to miss.
We can't wait to watch her continue to grow, learn, and chase even more victories in the years ahead.
From everyone at Race Mode Co, we're proud to feature Jayleigh and wish her the best of luck for the rest of the racing season!
