Have you ever dreamed about something for so long that when it finally started happening it almost didn't feel real?

That's exactly how this addition to our home feels.

For eight years, it existed only in my imagination. I could picture the light, the doors, the fireplace, and the life we would build in this space. Now, I can finally walk through it and see that vision coming to life.

It's still a construction zone, with unfinished floors, exposed details, and plenty left on the to-do list. But somewhere between the doors going in and the walls going up, it stopped feeling like an addition and started feeling like home.

Watching this dream become reality has been such a gift, and I can't wait to share each step along the way. 🤍
