🚨🚨Pride 2026 Coffee Alert🚨🚨

Hey Friends, happy Pride Month! Let's rewind for moment before we move forward:

In June 2022, we began this journey, we began this story with a powerful affirmation: Pride. In June 2023, we cranked the k**b, stepped up to the mic, and drowned out the noise: Love Out Loud. The path forward and the overall beauty of Pride in a growing Rock Hill became much clearer in 2024: Rainbow Static. 2025 brought grey clouds, but the beautiful Hope Phoenix ignited hopes and warmed hearts while lighting the path with love: Encore.

Now, 2026 has figuratively introduced the storm of the century - some are confused and some are justifiably afraid, while others have either taken asylum, or have no choice but to weather the storm. Some are all these things and more. The rain is seemingly relentless, but it can't rain all time. This 2026 Pride coffee was roasted to highlight color breaking through those dark clouds. And where there is color, there is light; and, where there is light, there is hope; and finally my friends, where there is hope, there is certainly a bright future.

If you stay ready, you won't have to get ready; so, let's sit down with some good coffee and contemplate a good game plan for the future. As a memoriam to the past, visibility to the present, and a torch to pass to the future for Rock Hill Pride 2026, Cheza Roastworks presents:

Here's the Encore story:

Imagine that you scored great seats to your favorite music artist/band. As they finish their set, the vibes are good, and the energy is great from both sides of the stage; the crowd begins to call for an Encore... That unrehearsed encore surpasses the entire rehearsed setlist in connectivity, vivacity, presence and raw emotion; one of the purest forms of expression when the Encore is true... Life imitates music.

Current events seem to highlight the fragility of progress, and some may even feel that our hard-fought advancements are being consumed in flames; however, the Phoenix, representing Hope, will rise from those flames to deliver a true Encore with Love.

🚨🚨New Coffee Alert🚨🚨

Happy Pride Month, we have a new coffee release to celebrate!

Think back to a time when televisions were a box set and not a screen, when your evening sitcom was transmitted through a TV antenna or beamed to a large satellite dish out in the yard, instead of streamed through high-speed internet. Late into the night, transmissions would end with the familiar, monotone drone accompanied by colorful, vertical bars. The night owls still up beyond that were met with Rainbow Static; sometimes with hints of audio and picture attempting to break through at times. Eventually, the signal would reform on the TV set. The movement of Pride draws a parallel in that what a community that "Loves Out Loud" in Unity looks like is becoming more clear each day!

The Daisy flower blooms in an array of colours with an equally diverse history of floriculture ranging from Egypt to Scotland to the Americas. Common Daisy themes include comfort, love, joy, and humility, which are in themselves a truly wonderful bouquet of traits. The representative coffee was selected in memoriam of my grandmother, Daisy, and is roasted in honor of my mom, Clarissa, as well as all of the Mothers of the world who have made life a beautiful bouquet for their loved ones. -Dav💛🤍💜☕️

Inspired by Loren Eiseley's "The Star Thrower"

One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, "What are you doing?" The youth replied, "Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them back, they'll die." The man said, "Son, don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds and hundreds of starfish? You can't make a difference!" After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the ocean. Then, smiling at the man, he said... "I made a difference for that one."
