Ten days ago a report was released by Haiti’s Ministry of Public Health and Population with support from UNICEF, FAO, WFP, WHO and nutrition partners. They claim more than one quarter million children are facing acute malnutrition and state, "The projected deterioration (of Haiti) would increase demand for care across more communities, placing further pressure on services that many families already struggle to access."

— meaning: Middle Ground is needed more than ever! —

Friends, I know the world feels like it's on fire right now and reading statistics like the one above feels paralyzing, but for the children at MG? Their lives are forever changed by the generosity of people who support the programs.

— the opportunity: donate $37 in honor of my birthday & be entered to win $370 worth of fair trade products! —
