📣 WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DOWNTOWN LEADERS!

Applications are now open for the Rock Springs Main Street/URA Youth Advisory Council, and we’re looking for high school students who want to have a voice in the future of Downtown Rock Springs!

The Youth Advisory Council gives young people a seat at the table and an opportunity to turn their ideas into action. Members will have the chance to:

⭐ Help plan Downtown events
🎨 Have a voice in public art and revitalization projects
🤝 Gain volunteer and community service experience
💡 Develop and lead youth-driven projects
📣 Share ideas about what young people want to see Downtown
🎓 Build leadership experience for college applications and résumés

Who can apply? High school students ages 14–18 who want to get involved, make a difference and help shape their community.

And students can nominate themselves! Parents, teachers, mentors, businesses and community members are also encouraged to share the opportunity with a young person who would be a great fit.

We’re not looking for students who already have everything figured out. We’re looking for ideas, enthusiasm and young people who care about their community.

🌱☕ ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: Pin Up Coffee at the Train Depot

Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature takes us to Pin Up Coffee, located at 501 S. Main Street in the historic Downtown train depot.

Pin Up Coffee has created a bright, welcoming gathering place where you can settle in with a latte, meet a friend for lunch, grab a sweet treat or simply hang out for a while. Their menu includes specialty coffees and lattes, dirty sodas, baked goods and sandwiches—with plenty of personality mixed in.

✨ 20 Years of Impact — Before & After ✨
📍 618 Broadway — The Broadway Theater

This one is arguably one of our favorites — and definitely one closest to our hearts. ❤️

It’s hard to imagine Downtown Rock Springs today without the Broadway Theater, but the before photo is a reminder that this Downtown gem wasn’t always the active, vibrant venue we know today.

Through investment, vision and a strong partnership with the City of Rock Springs, Wyoming Business Council, and Infinity Power Corp., the former Rock Theater was given new life as the Broadway Theater — and today, it has become an important part of our Downtown.

Each year, the Broadway welcomes more than 11,000 visitors through its doors for around 100 performances and events. Concerts, theater, dance, comedy, films, community productions, meetings and special events bring people Downtown throughout the year.

And those visitors don’t just attend a show. They eat at our restaurants, grab a drink, shop, stay overnight and spend time in Downtown — creating an economic impact that extends well beyond the theater doors.

But maybe its biggest impact is harder to measure. The Broadway has given our community a place to gather, experience live entertainment, celebrate local talent and make memories together.

From a closed theater to a thriving community venue...

Can you imagine Downtown without this gem? We certainly can’t. 🎭❤️
