Have lyre, will travel.... 😉!
Brothers and Sisters of the Strings, I have been working on several videos during my stay here in Mazatlán, Mexico....mostly concentrating on advance practicing techniques and yes....as requested...a few songs with fi*****ngs demos.
As you have no doubt discovered yourselves, there are many interpretations of playing techniques, fi*****ng and scales. Nary a one of us have all even partial understanding of the "true historic methods" as little to none examples exist of any of the above. Most is conjecture at best.
Here's my point. Don't worry about criticism or downright paternalism concerning your playing style(s) or tunings or songs you like to play. Just play. Play your heart out...when your sad, happy or very carefully if you are frustrated or angry (lol). Learn to be good at what YOU do. Love the journey of YOUR heart, mind and fingers in regard to you're lyre playing.
I want this to be an enduring page for your compositions and/or interpretations of songs. So please share with us your expertise, accomplishments and also your frustrations. Posting videos is encouraged. ( note: any racist, sexist or homophobic material will be excised immediately as we here are all about inclusivity and NOT exclusivety.)
I'm sure we will all benefit from such ventures. I personally look forward to a brighter future of Q&A, video and pictoral submissions and we will all grow from such.

Hello Dragon Harpers!! Yes...if you have found this page you have arrived at the V2 of our Dragon Harps business page. Yes...this is Andrew and yes...our business is still in Rockaway Beach. FB accidentally shut down my parent account ( it's been insanely hard to recoup everything). Yes...the original page is still up and running but I can't access it due to the account having been canceled! So here we are authentically and ready to begin answering questions and taking orders again. Our Ebay store is still operating and you can reach me there and purchase from there. Currently we are only producing custom lyres, made to order and with a range of custom options for you to design and employ! As time goes on more content and new training and demo videos will be added. The old page will still contain relevant training and demos but no new content will be added there.
