Hey gang! How are ya? I hope well! It's been too long since I've posted, but I'm still at it, drawing every day on my morning train commute. I'll try to stay on top of it from now on, so I don't overload you like this. Each month has some drawings I'm happy with as well as some clunkers, but I've come to realize that's just part of the deal. Some days I feel like I've got a handle on things and others I'm lost. That applies to a lot in life, right? I just look at it as a process and it gives me a lot of satisfaction when I flip through the pages. It also serves as a nice time capsule. Hope you like it, friends!

Hello good people! It's been a long time since I've posted
my Dover Line drawings so I'm gonna throw 3 months at you all at once! There's a couple keepers in the mix. I'll give you my favorites per month. May: Woman yawning and Sunglasses on his ball cap. June: Man at Summit Station and Man wearing blazer. July: Don't forget to call me and Man in striped shirt, spitting. Also, there's a shot of my old coworker Frank Hannon on one of the hottest mornings this summer. Hope you like and keep cool!

Hi everyone. I'm finally posting up my Dover Line drawings from the month of March. As you can see, I was absent for many of the days, unfortunately due to my father's illness and passing. He was my hero in so many ways and his unwavering love, encouragement and support was and will always be a constant source of fuel for me. He loved seeing my artwork and would go out of his way to share any of my creative projects with anyone within arm's reach. He did the same for my brothers and we are forever grateful.

I wish I could say I like this batch of drawings, but I'm not crazy about them. I like the one where the woman looks mad at me. I think I captured her expression accurately. I'm happier with April's drawings and I'll post them up in a few days. Hope all is well friends!

Hey gang! A little late, but here's my February drawings from my Dover Line Project. This was a special month because it marked the completion of my journal, on Valentine's Day no less. 656 drawings in all! I started up a new one and will keep doing it til I drop or stop taking the train, whichever one comes first. Hope you like!

Hey gang! Sorry I'm late! 2019 is here and so is my latest batch of Dover Line drawings. I've gathered a nice collection of winter hats, scarves, earmuffs along with the people wearing them. I'm guessing February will have it's fair share of them too. Bundle up people - hope you like!

Hey gang - Happy New Year! Here's the last batch of Dover Line drawings from 2018. Not as many as you'd typically see, but December's one of those months. Lots of time off, away from the train. I noticed that the majority of the drawings come from the Newark Broad Street stop, where there are no real backgrounds, due to the fact that the people are up on an elevated platform. I always seem to get good shots there, because the light hits people just right. Hope you like!

Hello good people! Once again, I'm late posting my Dover Line drawings. Here's the latest batch from November, 2018. I feel pretty good about these. I had good light most of the days and some interesting moments presented themselves. I have 2 drawings featuring law enforcement officers. I captured a woman putting out the word for her favorite candidate. I have some horses, a dog and a fake camel. That's hard to beat! Hope you like!

Hey gang! Here's my Dover Line drawings for the month of August, 2018. Fewer drawings than usual but happily I was able to capture a nice variety of moments. One of my favorites is the drawing of my train conductor. I showed him the drawing the following day and he was happily surprised. We're on a first name basis now. I plan on printing and giving it to him at some point. I'd better do it soon or I'll forget. I'm also happy with the drawing of the mother and son. Hope you like! Ok, let's cool off and bring on the Fall!

Hey gang! Here are my Dover Line drawings for the month of July, 2018. I was seeing double this month. Two women with their large coffees, two doggies excited by the train and one man actually blowing bubbles (double bubbles?). I'm really happy with my drawing of the man welding (or whatever he was doing). I like when I can capture a moment of someone on the job. Hope everyone's enjoying their summer!

Hey gang! I'm a little late posting my batch of Dover Line drawings from June, 2018. Had a tough time getting my act together but better late than never. Caught a couple good moments and the sun was very cooperative. I love good light. My favorite is the man about to board the train, not for the subject matter but for the drawing. I wish I could've gotten a better take on the guy struggling to get his coat on. His belly was popping out and I was hoping I could capture that one a little more accurately. Oh well, it was a real gut check for me (sorry, I had to). Hope you like!
