Hello . It’s that time of year again. Travel event time. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the schedule for the next couple months.

Shop and courses will be closed September 7th through October 23rd. No phone calls will be answered or voicemails returned till we are back in the store on the 23rd and after 4pm when we open. Please keep in mind we will still be unpacking from the events and will not have a visual of inventory. Courses will be back open at this time.

We will be at the Gauntlet in Michigan the 19th through the 22nd and then headed to Crawlapalooza in Oklahoma the 17th through the 21st. Please check out these events, come see us on site and support these events.

Our next event(s) at the shop are on October 31st. In the morning we will have a swap meet. This is free to vend and attend. Bring a table and a tent. In the late afternoon/evening will be our annual Holloween night run under the lights. Bonfire 🔥 and appreciation give away. We are working on a food truck for the evening. Actually a Hotdog 🌭 truck. Sounds amazing so we’re hoping to get them here.

Following this event the store and courses will be open up to but not including Thanksgiving weekend. Starting that weekend the indoor courses and pit areas will be closed for updates, changes and improvements.

We will have a limited availability first look New Years Eve Crawl party on New Year’s Eve with food catered in. Event info to be posted in a month or so. Then of course the first TNT 🧨 of the 2025 Season on New Year’s Day.

We absolutely appreciate everyone who has participated in our event and support the competitions and store. We look forward to another season.

Man. These “Canyon 8” wheels are 🔥! Light weight. Strong 6061 aluminum. Made in the USA 🇺🇸. Eighty6 RC made us an amazing wheel. We have them in a 1.9” flavor as well. SLW bolt pattern. All our wheels come with hubs and Team KNK hardware. Stop by Crawler Canyon RC Park or canyonrc.com and get a set or two. $130.99 for 1.9 and $140.99 for 2.2 wheels.

Why our wheels? Hmm:
Machined on both sides with either a high offset or a mild offset. Mild offset has about a 2mm difference in barrel depth so you can adjust your track width and fine tune your rig. The high offset set is just that. A flat face or you can flip it for that deep dish look 👀. 2.2 also have a .8” inner ring. PERFECT for these 5.25 tire rigs!!!!! 6 hub screws hold it all together for easy maintenance!!

Now that the comp series is has come to an end I’d like to give a huge thank you to all of the amazing companies that have sponsored our winter comp series. Many of them have been with us since our very first event and many of them join us this year but we would like to give each and everyone of you a huge thank you for supporting us and the series!
Next I’d like to thank Chase Hanlock and Rob Martin for helping us do all of the scores. With out you guys we would probably still be adding them up.
Also want to thank Chase Hanlock for making the awards again. Every year he insists on doing them and every year he comes up with cool different design.
Next I’d like to go back to the beginning of the year and thank everyone who came out to help work on the course getting ready for the series. There is a lot of work that goes into this event and with your help we are able to put on the series.

Just something on my mind as I see posts of people buying stuff on line especially when it’s a product we have in stock or are able to get through one of our many suppliers. To a small business owner EVERY sale is important. Yes I understand a lot of the suppliers we have are also small businesses and is important to them as well. I will say this that not all on line stores also have a brick and mortar store/shop so overhead to them may and I say may be less. Those of us who have invested the time and money so people have an actual standing storefront to go to for help, products, advice, hands on experience with repair or heck just a place to hang out, meet real people in person, develop friendships, get there kids off the video games. We as said owners appreciate and need every sale possible so we can continue to spend our time and resources to keep these places open so you can do all of the above. We have ALL the same business responsibilities as the on lines but add more insurance, separate electric, HVAC, tax, licensing, rent/mortgage, payroll and more. Point of this is: if you need or want something stop in to a local business, see if we/they have it and help that business. If they don’t but can get it….. give them the opportunity to put a couple dollars in the register. It makes a HUGE difference. More than most can even understand.

If you enjoy the local shops SUPPORT them. It matters.

If you have fun at local shops SUPPORT them. It matters.

If you want to KEEP going there then SUPPORT them. It matters.

Small businesses close because no one thinks there purchases MATTER.
