Morning, paper friends. It a gloomy and rainy one; I would really like to stay cozy inside, but I am off to Chicago for a medical appointment. Currently finishing my coffee and trying to locate my glasses.🥱☕️🌧️ I did manage to get TEN art bundles listed on the website last night though! If you are a newsletter subscriber, you’ve probably already taken a peak at what’s available.

As mentioned in stories last weekend, I am preparing a complete refresh. There’s nothing wrong with any of the art. Just giving you some mega deals, so I can prepare for upcoming Fall and Winter events. ✂️

I am still planning to do the stationery grab bags with items from my personal stash and supplies I need to let go even though I would love to keep hoarding it all. 🫣 It’s coming and will be a story sale, mostly on Rockford Stationery Club stories.

But first, I need to get my butt in gear and head out for these appointments despite wanting to avoid them. Bringing a little analog bag with me and hoping I don’t get slammed in traffic for too long. Wish me luck!🤞🏼✏️📓

It’s my call to Fall. 🍂 These collage pieces are from September 2025. They represent some of my favorite color schemes and feelings I am yearning for right now. I am so over these summer temps and really looking for inspiration. ✨

Typically, I am ready for making and creating this time of year. But it’s been tough. I know cleaning my space and getting things organized will help. I keep telling myself “just do it”.

My next in person show is Rockford Fall Art Scene Oct 2 & 3. I will be at The Scrap Jar in their event space both nights.

Hi! 👋🏼 I don’t have any new work to show you, but I do have a giant picture of my face from our day at the Field Museum on Sunday. We finally checked out the Pokemon Exhibit! ❤️

The exhibit was on our summer bucket list, and we finally made it there as a belated birthday celebration for my oldest. I wish I had more fun photos to show you, but they include my family; I don’t think I took that many though because we were so busy. My boys loved the exhibit and the gift shop (🫠). I loved being at the museum in general. The weather was perfect too.

You’ll notice the pigeon photo at the end because they were also obsessed with the insane amount of pigeons. 🙃 We clearly don’t take them to Chicago enough. I grew up going downtown pretty often; majority of my family still all live in the Chicagoland area. Watching them walk around the city admiring everything was pretty great.

✂️ Still reading? As far as the event I did at Wildroots Nature Center- Art in Nature, I tried to remember to take photos, but it was just so busy. The day was filled with lots of families and kids making/creating. My oldest even ended up coming out and helping me. He was super helpful to the little ones. It was a really nice time. The collage nature journals were a success! A little over 100 journals were made that day. 🤯

I will have a schedule up super soon, a newsletter this week. (sign up link in bio), and hopefully some new work! Thinking of doing some different bundles potentially on my website. I’ll keep you posted!

Hope you enjoyed the long weekend! And thank you for sticking around. It’s been a slow summer for my business, but an extra busy one as a parent. The school year starting is already kicking my butt. I appreciate you. ❤️

Rockford area friends and families! This Saturday, September 5th, from 10am-2pm is Art in Nature at Wild Roots Nature Center. I am coming back this year with a nature journal offering for kids and families. We will be making nature collage journals! This is a FREE event. Come get crafty at Wild Roots Nature Center with me!

There will be several additional artists to explore and lots of fun activities for all ages! Looking forward to seeing you!

If you were a fan of the stationery themed cards and collage I made for Stationery Store Day, then this post is for you. The stickers have arrived. ✨ And I’m in love. I’ve been wanting to add new stickers for awhile. The recent additions have made me very excited.

Stickers are done with a matte finish. They are die-cut and have easy peel back. But you can read about all that when you check out the website. 😉 I need to take more photos and get proper listings ready for you; I was just really excited to share them when they arrived.

The “sun head” sticker is officially on the website! 🌞 This was my favorite from the collage collection I created for this year’s Porter Flea summer market- Soleil Summer.

Available in both a matte die-cut and glitter! The matte is slightly bigger as shown in the photos. It measures 4in long; the glitter is 3in long. You can check out additional photos on the website with size comparisons.

If you swipe all the way to the end, you will see the original collage piece. She is still available on the website as well.

Thank you MOOD for hosting me today for one of my favorite days- Stationery Store Day!! 🐌💌✏️ It was such a fun day filled with all the cute paper things!

And an extra big thank you to all of you who came out to shop, chat, and spread the stationery love. I feel so grateful for all of you! It always makes my heart swell to see familiar faces and friends visit. It’s just the best.

I didn’t take many photos. There wasn’t really time! But I did manage to grab a photo of my print pull before I left the store. It seemed pretty fitting for today! 📬 I grabbed some fun stationery store day goodies too. Couldn’t leave without my own paper purchases. 😉
