Heyy everyone! This is DeeAnna the business owner. I first want to continue to thank everyone for showing up and showing us so much love and support! You have no idea how much that means to us. 💛💛💛
While I’m sure some of you have seen a circling post here on Facebook with a couple of negative things that were said from an individual. Usually I let things go, but this has hit me and my family deeply. After all of the hard work, love and care that we put into our store, we still have some who have never stepped foot into our store judge us.
I want to start out with yes we absolutely take in unwanted, neglected or abused animals. I do not have a single bone in my body that will or can turn away an animal. I truly believe from the bottom of my heart every child and every animal in this world deserves a loving and healthy home/space. With that being said, when taking on this responsibility of these animals conditions, we do have a professional vet. While some of these animals can get back to their normal healthy lives with treatment, some don’t always have that luck. When the treatments don’t work and the animals health does not increase, these animals will stay at our Shop OR be adopted out by rescues (ABSOLUTELY NOT SOLD). We at Dee’s will never sell a sick animal. Absolutely never.
Also, We do use local breeders and we also have a few of our own shop animals that we breed and spoil! My top priority is healthy and happy animals!
My door is always open to those who want to come in, you can take pictures if you feel, you can ask as many questions and express if you have any concerns on why animals may be housed separately.
Many have seen us shed tears over the animals we have to say goodbye to, because we absolutely grow close to our animals that we get in. Behind the scenes is different households who have grown attached to several of the animals that have came through the pet store and we have taken them to our homes because we have grown deeply attached to them.
I know I don’t have to explain myself, but this time it’s been a little heavy on my heart. While I know jealousy is a thing that plays into madness, but please don’t rain on my parade. The love and care this way is more than you’ll ever know and you’ll see when you step foot into our door. 🫶🏻💛
Thank you to everyone again! 💛💛💛
