What do yall put in your cottage cheese?
I love mine with radishes and cucumbers with a good sprinkle of redmonds salt and black pepper.
But today’s is hitting the spot! Cottage cheese, diced jalapenos, cucumber and sweet onion and of course salt and pepper.
Impatiently waiting for the next harvest of radishes!

Good Morning our friends!! Today is a beautiful day on the Texas coast(except for them pesky mosquitoes).
We are open today til 5.
Stop by for some fresh veggies, farm fresh eggs, classic chocolate chip cookies (yes they do have Akin Acres eggs in them) from Sweets by Sadie or handmade crafts.

Our little seedlings are sprouting up all over our new beds. We are super excited with all the new additions and can not wait to share them with you all. We are hoping the first harvest of all those beds should be around the first week of July.

Good morning! Sorry I am running a little late posting this morning. I was waiting to get a little secret finalized. We are excited to announce we will be selling goodies from Sweets by Sadie. Today we have Chocolate Chip cookies. There will be more to come soon. She also will have a menu for special orders. Let me tell you these are delicious cookies! Crisp around the edges, soft center with the perfect amount of chocolate.
As always we will be open til 5.

Good morning from Akin Acres.
As you spend the day today with your family and friends please remember the Soldiers and their families who are no longer able to be together. I pray over their sacrifices that allow you and I to continue on every day in this beautiful country.

I have a custom sign in front of our building that my husband built and I painted. Every month I change the bottom sign to reflect a holiday or season. This month I struggled to decide what to paint. What I came up with fills my heart. The dedication to many of the most important people in each of our lives, Our Mothers and Fallen Soldiers. God bless you all and I pray that each and everyone of you have a safe Memorial Day.

Our days and hours for the week will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-4.
