A few months ago, when we made the difficult decision to close Bloom, so many of you asked, “What’s next?”
The honest answer was...we had no idea.
We just knew it was time for a new chapter.
Today, we’re excited to finally share where life has taken us.
Tom recently joined Quest Academy with Rockwall ISD as an Instructional Assistant and is working toward his Texas teaching certification. Watching him discover a passion for investing in students has been such a joy.
As for me, I recently accepted the role of Partner Experience Manager with the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. I’m looking forward to getting to know our Chamber Partners and supporting the businesses that make this community so special.
One of the things we've reflected on these past few months is how much Bloom gave us beyond a business. It introduced us to incredible people and created connections we never could have imagined. In fact, both of our new opportunities grew out of conversations with people we first met through the store. We'll always be grateful for their encouragement and for sharing opportunities that helped lead us to this next chapter.
When we moved from Oregon, we hoped to find a place that felt like home. What we didn’t realize was that Bloom would become part of how we found it.
Through the store, we didn’t just build a business—we built friendships, found our community, and discovered that the relationships we invested in would become one of the greatest blessings of all.
As we begin these new chapters, we’re reminded that sometimes the seeds you plant in one season don’t bear fruit until the next.
Thank you, Rockwall, for welcoming us, believing in us, and carrying us into what’s next. We couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️
