Here is what I know…
There are countless things that I do not understand or know about this life, here on earth, but when pondering that thought, I found comfort in reflecting on what things I did know for sure. Tomorrow as we celebrate the resurrection and knowledge of Jesus Christ as the one and only Living God I pray that you are sure of what you know as well.
I know that many doubt His very existence.
I know that most people ignore the pulling of the Spirit of God, breathed inside of them by the creator of all things.
I know it is easy to continue to do what we love rather than sacrifice.
I know it is hard to obey.
I know that God says obedience is better than sacrifice.
I know that forgiveness is possible.
I know Jesus is the Messiah and the Lord of my life.
I know the resurrection of Christ and His return to earth, after an unspeakable death, of which there would be no recovery, was witnessed and documented by over 500 people.
I know that sin cannot abide with a Holy God.
I know that by Jesus dying on the cross, He was making a choice to take on all of our sins as a sacrifice to make it possible to have communion with His creation.
I know He forgave me.
I know my eternity is secure.
I know you may not always see me doing what is perfect, but God see’s me as His perfect Son.
I know there is nothing that can separate me from the love of Christ.
I know the many promises the Lord has made to we who profess Him as our Lord will come to pass.
I know that His Word is the Truth.
I know that everyday is a new day to be grateful to Him and it will still not compare to what He has given me.
I know that His Word declares that He would have it that ALL would be saved.
I know that tomorrow, to some, is just another day, but I also know that maybe one person reading this may be moved to accept Christ into their heart and be revealed the truth of who God is.
I know I will be praying to be used for His glory.
I know that God so loved the world that He GAVE His only son so that we could share eternity with Him.
I know that when Jesus spoke it is finished on the cross, He then knew He had defeated death and sin.
I know Jesus stands at the door of everyone’s heart and knocks, asking to come in, giving us free will to accept that invitation.
I know that tomorrow is not promised to any of us.
I know today, I will rejoice, not just knowing the Word of God, but the God of the Word.
I know you can too.
Happy Resurrection Sunday
