Beautiful new Scratchboard Marquis Earrings recently landed from Janet Marsano!

Janet's pieces consist of fine line organic and geometric drawings. She creates these drawings on scratchboard with various tools which scratch through the black ink surface of Museum Series Scratchboard.

The drawings are then sealed with multiple coats of an acrylic sealer to protect the image. After the drawings are sealed, they are then cut out with a jewelers saw and mounted in sterling silver with a strong glue. The sterling is then waxed to slow the patina that naturally occurs over time.

It's a labor of love with stunning one-of-a-kind results. Pictures do not do these pieces justice.
